Local 25, and the LiUNA Baltimore Washington District Council, will hold a rally for workers’ justice at 4:30 p.m., at CASA’s Langley Park location to highlight the important issues at stake during this year’s elections in Prince George’s County and throughout the state.

“In this election year, it is more important than ever to lift up the issues that are central to working families,” said CASA in Action President Gustavo Torres.

Guest speakers will include community members, leaders and candidates speaking on issues that are at the heart of Prince George’s County residents’ biggest concerns.

A CASA in Action community member will speak about his worries regarding educational funding and achievement.

Other issues will include $15 minimum wage, transit concerns for working families, good jobs and economic development.

Donna Edwards, who is running for Prince George’s County Executive, will serve as the rally’s keynote speaker.
