Former Congressman Luis Gutierrez and PA Senate Candidate Janet Díaz hold rally and door-knocking to talk to Latino Voters

Lancaster, PA — Electoral organization fighting for immigrant and Latinx rights CASA in Action, Former Congressman Luis Gutierrez, and PA Senate Candidate Janet Díaz, will hold a press conference to rally the immigrant, Latino, and Puerto Rican vote in Lancaster and launch a local canvassing campaign. Press event will be bilingual in Spanish and English. Following remarks, the canvassing team will launch an afternoon of door-knocking.

This energizing ‘get out the vote’ event will highlight Janet Díaz, Pennsylvania Senate Candidate who if elected will be the first Latina to serve in the State Senate.

WHAT: Janet Díaz, CASA in Action Latino Vote Rally. CASA in Action along with Former Congressman Luis Gutierrez and Senate Candidate Janet Díaz will hold a press event to rally to get excited to vote followed by the canvasing launch to door-knock throughout Lancaster.

WHEN: Saturday, October 10, 2020 press event at 2:00-2:45 pm EST, door knocking with Janet Díaz campaign & CASA in Action members at 3:00 – 5:00 pm EST.

WHERE: Roberto Clemente Park, 705-601 S Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17602. This event will take place entirely outside.

ABOUT: As with all of CASA in Action’s events, this event is COVID-safe. Masks are required and must cover the nose and mouth. Hand sanitizer will be available. All must practice the social distancing policy, keeping six feet of distance from others.
