Representative Carol Hill-Evans and CASA in Action hold rally, door-knocking, and car parade to talk to Latino Voters
York, PA — Electoral organization fighting for immigrant and Latino rights CASA in Action and Pennsylvania House of Representatives member Carol Hill-Evans will hold a press conference to rally the immigrant and Latino vote in York and launch a morning of canvassing followed by a ‘caravana,’ car parade. Press event will be bilingual in Spanish and English. Following remarks, the canvassing team will launch a morning of door-knocking ending with the caravana. Volunteers, activists, and organizers from Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia will converge on York to participate in the voter mobilization and door-knocking.
WHAT:
CASA in Action Latino ‘Get out the Vote’ Rally with Pennsylvania House of Representatives member Carol Hill-Evans. Following rally, CASA in Action and Carol Hill-Evans will launch canvassing campaign to door-knock throughout York ending with a car parade, ‘caravana.’

Caravana 1:30pm (Meet at Bob Hoffman Sports Complex)

This event will take place entirely outside.

VISUALS:
The canvassing campaign will work in teams of 2-3 people throughout York neighborhoods. The caravana, a car parade, will have cars honking their horns, sound trucks, flags, baby Trump balloons, and more.
ABOUT:
As with all of CASA in Action’s events, this event is COVID-safe. Masks are required and must cover the nose and mouth. Hand sanitizer will be available. All must practice the social distancing policy, keeping six feet of distance from others.
