CASA in Action Celebrates Second Georgia Runoff Victory with Warnock Reelection

ATLANTA — Shortly after official results were announced in the 2022 Georgia Senate runoff election, CASA in Action released the following statement from Georgia Voter Engagement Manager Michelle Sanchez. With a team of 35 canvassers, CASA in Action reached 59,850 voters, running over 8 million digital ad impressions and delivering more than 149,000 Spanish radio ad impressions across Henry, Clayton, Fulton, and DeKalb Counties.

“Our entire team is ecstatic to see Rev. Raphael Warnock finally re-elected to the U.S. Senate,” Sanchez said. “This was a short, but intense campaign that lasted just over three weeks. Our field team knocked on more than 36,000 doors in that brief timespan across Fulton, Henry, Clayton, and DeKalb Counties to secure this win, reaching almost 60,000 voters. We expect Sen. Warnock to continue working for more affordable healthcare and housing, voting and reproductive rights, and protections for the immigrant community. The Black and Latino voters we contacted throughout this campaign made all the difference in this race.”
