Media Advisory: Immigrant & Union Leaders to Rally to Elect Tom Perez for Governor
Organizations backing the Perez Sneed Gubernatorial Campaign rally during day of action
ADELPHI, MARYLAND — This Saturday, CASA in Action will host a community rally alongside labor leaders from AFSCME Council 3 and 67, UFCW Local 400, SEIU Local 500, and 32BJ SEIU. CASA in Action’s board of directors voted to endorse Tom Perez early in his campaign for his progressive values and history of delivering meaningful reforms for working people. As the primary elections heat up, participating unions and CASA in Action will participate in a full day of action (canvassing and phonebanking voters across the state) before meeting at the CASA in Action Multicultural Center to rally.
