About CASA in Action

By mobilizing Black, Latine, Afro-descendent, Indigenous, and Immigrant voters, CASA in Action, and its 155,000 members, play a powerful role in electing progressive change leaders who can produce the justice our members seek nationwide. CASA in Action endorses candidates that advance its membership’s priorities and facilitates greater engagement of Latinos and voters of color in elections.

CASA in Action is an individual membership organization with a member base in Pennsylvania as well as Virginia and Maryland, and is one of the few organizations in the country to amass real funding from member contributions to conduct political work.

Our executive board is fully member-led and comprised of community activists – working class immigrants who are part of the organization’s member committees throughout all of our jurisdictions. Board members decide who we support, connecting our electoral program to our local campaign priorities.

About CASA in Action PAC

In 2018, we launched CASA in Action PAC, a sister organization to CASA in Action, to further expand our capacity to impact elections and grow political power. Together, CASA in Action together with CASA in Action PAC have mobilized thousands of Latinos and other voters of color to the polls through targeted data-driven electoral programs throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia, South Central Pennsylvania, and Georgia. For the 2018 midterm elections, CASA in Action, together with CASA in Action PAC, conducted their largest electoral program to date, hiring over 200 staff, branching staging offices and simultaneous programming in 8 counties throughout our four states.
