 LATINOS COMMIT TO TURN-OUT IN CRITICAL PRIMARY ELECTION

- CASA IN ACTION ENDORSED CANDIDATES JOIN WITH BOARD MEMBERS AND ACTIVISTS TO UNDERSCORE THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LATINO VOTE -

Ranging from candidates for Senate to candidates for Sheriff, including Attorney General Candidate Brian Frosh, Montgomery County Executive Isiah “Ike” Leggett, and more, CASA in Action members, Latino voters.

Langley Park, MD – CASA in Action, the state’s largest Latino electoral organization, will host a press conference this Wednesday where participants will hear from CASA leaders about the organization’s campaigns to improve the state and from endorsed candidates about their commitment to work together on those campaigns.  The organization, launched in 2010, has more than 50,000 members and plans to reach out this year to additional tens of thousands of Latino voters.

CASA in Action has endorsed dozens of candidates across the state.  By the primary election, its canvassers will place multiple live phone calls to Latino voters across the state, door knock tens of thousands of homes, and mail two sample ballots.  Across early vote and Election Day, volunteers will cover dozens of the top Latino polls in the State.  The enormous body of electoral work will launch on Wednesday at the press conference.
